Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress as well as a director producer and singer. She is an attractive, talented actress who has helped many Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. She gained fame after numerous popular role in the series. The most notable was her role in the Ally McBeal series, where she portrayed Ling Woo the villainous character. After a sudden surge in popularity, the actress was offered roles on major screens like Shanghai Noon and Charlie's Angels. For Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an impressive performance in the role of Japanese criminal O-Ren Ishii. While she was in the film her role as an actor in films that failed that were box-office hits like Rise: Blood Hunter were as well-known. Then, she was able to sing prominent characters for animated films like Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was an unimportant role which did not have any effect. Southland, the critically-acclaimed drama police show that Liu played in on a regular basis played a part that has helped her regain her status as a famous as an actor.
