Amy Smart was an American model and actress. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. Her acting career started in 1996, when she was a character in the TV film Her Costly Affair. It took a long time to get her into Starship Troopers in a smaller part. It was difficult for her to make the transition between modeling and acting because the models werent usually believed to be actors and tended to be assigned smaller roles that were insignificant. Amy was determined to succeed and was eventually offered larger roles beginning with The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. Amy achieved the fame she'd been seeking for nearly 10 years when her film, Just Friends was released. Amy went on to star in major movies like the Crank Series alongside Jason Statham, and Shameless.
